Short Course Terms and Conditions
Payment: Prepayment is a requirement for enrollment. Payment is due upon admission and on the date indicated in your invoice. Your enrollment and space in the program is confirmed only after payment has been received.
Cancellations: All notifications of withdrawals, transfers, and substitutions must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the start of the course.
NYU Stern Executive Education does not offer refunds except under two specific circumstances:
- NYU Stern Executive Education will provide a full refund only if the participant is unable to secure a valid US visa to attend the course. Proper documentation from the appropriate government body will need to be submitted to NYU Stern to receive the refund.
- NYU Stern Executive Education reserves the right to cancel any program at any time. If a program is canceled, NYU Stern's liability is limited to a full refund of the program fee already paid.
NYU Stern Executive Education is not responsible for travel or related costs under any circumstances. Participants may want to consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance in the unlikely event that a program is cancelled or they cannot attend for personal or professional reasons
Transfers: One transfer to a subsequent program of equal or lesser value will be permitted within 12 months of the original program's start date, provided that there are seats available in the requested program. If the participant would like to transfer to a program of higher monetary value, then they are responsible to pay any overages.
Professional Requirements: Although there are no formal education or background requirements, NYU Stern Executive Education Short Courses are designed for those with professional work experience (typically 5 - 20 years).
Our participants hail from over 40 countries. While we strongly encourage global participation, please note that all courses are taught in English. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Individual courses may contain additional requirements. Please ensure that you have reviewed the information in the "Who Should Attend" section of the course page. By submitting a course application, you confirm that you meet our professional requirements for that course.

Students and visitors attending NYU Stern programs should be aware that programs may be recorded for any school or related educational purpose at any time during any program session.
