What to Expect
The Short Course Experience
Our 2- to 5-day short courses offer a unique opportunity to step outside of the pressures of your day-to-day work life and challenge yourself with new ideas and skills in a low-risk environment. Our team is here to guide you each step of the way.
Before the Course
Shortly after you enroll in a short course, you will receive a confirmation email securing your spot. Your Program Manager will also reach out about two weeks prior to the program start date with relevant logistics information and any pre-course academic materials.
During the Course
Typically, class days begin at 9:00 am and end at 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch and 15-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon. Catered breakfasts, lunches and coffee and tea breaks are provided during each day of the program.
Most of our short courses combine lecture, discussion and group activities, creating a dynamic learning environment. Come prepared to learn and exchange ideas with classmates from across industries and around the world.

After the Course
In addition to in-class networking opportunities, you will receive a full participant list with contact information for each of your classmates on the first day of the program, and will be invited to keep in touch. We also provide opportunities for participants to come back to NYU Stern for fireside chats, receptions and other events throughout the year.
