Overview

PLEASE NOTE: This program is currently being taught as an In Person class.

Leadership is a mindset, a set of behaviors, and a set of actions that can be carried out by individuals at all levels of an organization each and every day. Whether you are leading a group, mentoring an associate, or dealing with clients, all of these situations require leadership skills, and mastering these skills will help you become more effective in your respective role.

This program will introduce you to a variety of analytical frameworks related to leadership and will focus on how to apply those frameworks to analyze and address important leadership challenges. It will also help you to better understand the context within which leaders typically operate, and help make you more conscious of the choices you make as a leader in an organization. To achieve these objectives, this course combines a variety of pedagogical approaches: lectures, discussions, case analysis, short videos, and group exercises. Emphasis is placed on self-reflection and linking the concepts from the program to the participants’ own leadership objectives.

    Great experience!

Nate has managed to structure a leadership class with the perfect balance between interactive activities and theory/principles. He also demonstrated effective leadership throughout the course with his own teaching style. I feel I have walked away with practical understanding and skills that can be applied to not only work but also life. Thank you for a great experience.

    Fantastic Course

Great course for a person at any level in their career and relevant to managers and individual contributors for any team. Prof Petit makes the class extremely engaging and informative from start to finish. The material is presented in a way that's different from any leadership course I've taken and incorporates in-person simulations to prepare you for real-life situations in the future. It's incredible how much we were able to cover in 2 days, not to mention that great network of other professionals I now have lasting connections with.

    Way better than expected

It was awesome, I recommend it. I was ready to get 2 days of someone talking over slides, delivering either common sense advice or business buzzwords; but instead we had very honest, straight, no-bs, learn-by-doing activities that covered latest thinking in leadership that I don't believe I'd be able to get in a book or online training. The professor was instigating, accessible and very knowledgeable, and created lessons that intertwined games to simulate group dynamics that really drove home the key points from the theory material. This short course gave me plenty to work with right away, but more importantly, put me in direction to hone in the specific leadership skills that I, specifically, need.

    Completely worth your while

This course was so engaging, informative, and educational. Prof. Petit dives deep into human psychology and evolutionary behavior to explore and expand upon successful leadership mindsets, traits, and behaviors. In just a few days, we learned and were able to practice a great deal of techniques to become stronger leaders. In addition to this, in just a few short days, our cohort felt like a close group of good friends, rooting for and helping each other achieve greatness - a feat that simply cannot be overstated.
